Travelling Grant
The German ENT-Society offers financial support for attending the ENT-Congress in 2012, which will be held in Mainz from 16th - 20th May. President is Prof. Dr. N. Stasche from Kaiserslautern. Integrated in the congress is the "International Forum" with presentations in English. The support amounts to 500 EUR and can be used for travelling and
accomodation. The congress fee will be waived and the participation at the "International Evening" on Friday, 18th May 2012 is included. The grant aims at young ENT colleagues or scientists (age max. 45 years) from countries with limited resources to support visits abroad.
We expect an application of a presentation (free paper or poster) for the congress and a subsequent written evaluation of the meeting. We would also appreciate a report about the congress published in a national journal of the specific home-country and would be happy to receive a reprint.
The number of grants is limited and decisions will be made by a committee, based on the criteria mentioned above and by the order of application. The sum will be handed over at the congress.
Deadline for application is October 31, 2011
Social Program
Mainz has an impressive history. While its Roman relics point to its 2.000 year heritage, the magnificent baroque buildings and churches are a reminder of the times of the Electors.
Experience the world of printing in the Gutenberg Museum and enjoy the broad, apcious squares and the lovingly restored half-timbered houses, which give the Old Town its charming an picturesque character.
Further information about the social events can be seen in the final program, which will be sent out in April 2012.
